Mansion ‘sold’ to dormant firm after exposé
Mega-contractor and pastor Witness Mazanga allegedly sold his golf estate mansion to a dormant company owned by his alleged wife shortly after News24’s exposé of his R500m City Power contracts, some of which were allegedly ‘fraudulent’ and ‘irregular’.
Deeds office records show that Mazanga ceded his upmarket house in the Eye of Africa Golf and Residential Estate to Golden Lemon Holdings, whose sole director is Tsholofelo Margaret Makhubelo, the pastor’s partner.
Records show they are not legally married.
The house was registered in Golden Lemon’s name on 9 July 2026. A deeds office search revealed that no bank bond was registered when the property was transferred to Golden Lemons ‘by agreement’, meaning that no money was paid for the house, contrary to the Property24 listing.
