AMA was established in 1990 by Andrew Miller after 25 years in practice as a commercial and litigation law partner with Bowens Attorneys of Johannesburg (now Webber Wentzel).

The offices of AMA originally based in the Sandton CBD moved to Bryanston in 2002 as the firm began expanding.

AMA has interfaced with Professional Indemnity Underwriters and is one of the leading firms in Professional Indemnity Insurance legal matters. In the fields of commercial litigation and corporate law, it continues to expand as a commited law firm.
