The Guthrie family has made a significant contribution to the practice of law in the Cape for 116 years. In the legal fraternity the name Guthrie is synonymous with integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

In 1894 Francis Alexander Charles Guthrie was admitted as an attorney and founded the firm Guthrie & Theron in Hermanus and Caledon. You will see the firm operating in the Hermanus Main Road and surrounding towns. Craig Guthrie and Lara Colananni attribute the firm’s longevity to the consistent delivery of good legal advice and client focused service.
