She then commenced to specialise in Family Law and worked as a Family Advocate at the Office of the Family Advocate, Johannesburg from 2003 - 2007 where after she started to practice for her own account under the name Ivanda Venter Attorneys. In 2004 she completed SAAM accredited mediation training and in 2013 she became one of a few Family Law attorneys who are members of the National Academy of Collaborative Professionals in South Africa. Ivanda Venter has BLC, LLB and LLM degrees. She obtained her LLM degree, specialising in Family Law cum laude. Ivanda Venter Attorneys is a small firm who attends to client's individual needs and on a one on one basis.
