Located within the heart of Stellenbosch, JC Marais Inc. was incorporated in 2007 by founding and current director, Mr Christo Marais. Christo was admitted as an attorney in 1986, specialising in Contract, Insolvency and Property Law.

As a firm, we pride ourselves on being accessible to our clients, providing expeditious service. We believe every matter is important; therefore, acute attention is paid to the differing needs of Our Clients by the very capable staff. Our Team consists of 5 (five) highly qualified and experienced attorneys and conveyancers. They are assisted by a candidate attorney, as well as a team of 8 (eight) highly capable paralegals.

We specialise predominantly in Property Law and Commercial Law. We were fortunate enough to be involved as Project Attorneys and Conveyancers over the past 10 (ten) years, during which we worked in conjunction with many reputable property developers. We are proud to have worked on more than 15 (fifteen) property developments located across the Western Cape, with the hope of expanding our involvement across other South African Provinces.

We are also actively involved in bond registrations and bond cancellations for some of the major commercial banks operating within South Africa. Another area of expertise includes engaging with Purchasers and Sellers of Land, Buildings, Sectional Title Units, etc. We are highly skilled in drafting and finalising Land Sale Agreements (LSAs), Offers to Purchase (OTPs) and End-User Agreements.
