The seed of MAURICE PHILLIPS | WISENBERG was sown in October 1994 when Maurice Phillips and Paul Wisenberg met through a mutual colleague and since that day, they haven’t looked back. After first engaging as associates, Maurice and Paul found they had a great rapport and mutual understanding and they became partners in March 1995. This relationship, spanning two decades, is the backbone upon which our firm is built.

Paul introduced Leonard Hersch to the firm in 2002 (they had worked together previously) and Leonard became a partner in 2003. We are very proud to say that the MP|W family has now expanded to eight lawyers in the firm, each with their own set of skills and strengths which they bring to the table.

We view our size as one of our advantages; we are small enough to value every client, but at the same time are able to draw on a deep reservoir of legal acumen and expertise. At MP|W, our most important goal has always been to understand the broader needs of our clients and to offer solutions that meet and exceed these needs. This attention to detail and level of care has led to long-standing relationships with our clients – something we feel is a true testament to our beliefs.
