Mark Safranek BProc (cum laude) LLB (SA) LLM (Wits) was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in October 2002. He was also admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Superior Courts of England and Wales in March 2010.

During the period 2011 to 2009, Mark practised in specialist niche commercial law firms in Johannesburg, including among others Tabacks Attorneys, where in January 2008 he was appointed as a director and shareholder.

In January 2010, Mark founded Safraneks Attorneys.

Mark practices in all areas of the firm's practice, primarily in corporate/commercial transactions and related commercial litigation and arbitration, with particular expertise and interest in: Corporate & Commercial; Mergers & Acquisitions; Competition/Anti-trust; Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring; Commercial Litigation & Arbitration; Pharmaceutical & Healthcare; Tax; Regulatory He has represented clients in various high-level local and cross-border commercial transactions and before various South African statutory regulatory bodies (including the Competition Commission, South African Revenue Service, Takeover Regulation Panel, Companies & Intellectual Property Commission), the various High Courts of South Africa and in the Supreme Court of Appeal.
