Adam Oken

A. Oken Attorneys is a boutique commercial and litigation firm operating in the Western Cape and Gauteng Provinces. The firm was founded in 2020 by Adam Oken and established offices in Cape Town. Adam obtained B.com Finance and Honours degrees before completing a postgraduate LLB at the University of the Witwatersrand, whereafter he undertook his articles of clerkship with a Johannesburg based firm. After his admission as an Attorney of the High Court, Adam continued to practice as an associate in both Gauteng and the Western Cape representing a range of corporate and individual clients in the High Court and Magistrate's Court as well as within private arbitrations and tribunals in matters relating to high level contractual disputes, property and land-use, mining, reviews of administrative action, restraints of trade and employment law. Adam is experienced in representing a broad range of corporate and individual clients in the High Court and within arbitration proceedings, as well as in the drafting of a range of commercial agreements.
