Arnold Shapiro heads up our wills and deceased estates department. He focuses on wills and the administration of deceased estates. Arnold lectures for the Law Society of South Africa, Legal Education and Development School for Legal Practice, to law students in preparation for their Law Board entrance examination on wills and the administration of deceased estates. He has been appointed as a moderator by the Law Society of South Africa for their wills and estates board admission examination for the past eight years. Arnold is a member and a past chairman of the disciplinary committee of the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa (FISA) and has passed the board examination of FISA (FPSA). Arnold has co-authored and updated the lecture notes, used nationally at Practical Legal Training (PLT/LEAD) in South Africa for courses on wills and the administration of deceased estates. He is a regular guest on radio and television programmes.
