Christopher Cundell

Mr Cundell has been in legal practice and the employ of Richard Meaden & Associates since January 2008. Mr Cundell has acquired broad experience in Superior and Lower Court civil procedure and litigation, criminal procedure, arbitration process and construction disputes. Mr Cundell has also specialized in contract drafting and corporate law. Over and above this, Mr Cundell has also acquired unique exposure and experience regarding: Operations of The South African Reserve Bank and the enforcement of Exchange Control criteria. In so doing, Mr Cundell has been exposed to the scope and operation of The Reserve Bank Act; Immovable property consolidation and Municipal Regulation procedures. Mr Cundell regularly engages with various local authorities and is exposed to applicable process. Assessment and formulation of construction related arbitration claims and building related disputes. Contract review and risk assessment. Mr Cundell is also extensively involved in building construction and associated dispute / arbitration and litigation process and further has extensive experience in construction agreements which include JBCC Principal and Minor Works Agreements and Architect/Principal Agent Terms and Conditions. Mr Cundell has obtained advanced qualifications in drafting and interpretation of contracts and enjoys broad exposure concerning various contracts and contracting instructions received from clientele of Richard Meaden & Associates.
