Deon Bouwer

Deon is a qualified trade mark attorney admitted to the High Court of South Africa and is a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces (SA). He is also a fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL), a member various committees of the SAIIPL, as well as a senior dispute resolution adjudicator of the SAIIPL. He is furthermore also a member of INTA.Deon has more than 20 years experience in trade mark matters, is recognized as an expert in this field and represents various blue chip companies. He has extensive experience in trade mark litigation and prosecution, in South Africa as well as internationally, intellectual property management, advertising industry matters, domain name disputes, including alternative dispute resolution and the drafting of trade mark related agreements, such as license and distribution agreements.
