In addition to business restructuring (business rescue), Enslin Nel also focuses on consumer credit law, banking law and general commercial litigation. Enslin is a member of the Turnaround Management Association of Southern Africa. Representative experience: Co-represented the business rescue practitioners of Montic Dairy (Pty) Ltd in dealing with disputed claims lodged by creditors of the company. Representing the National Credit Regulator in various applications made to the National Consumer Tribunal against high-profile credit providers for contravening the NCA. Obtaining a High Court order for a property developing company, setting aside a liquidation order, enabling it to proceed with development of 4000 residential units. Acting for the Municipality of Johannesburg and its SOCs in various commercial litigation matters.Represented SAA in contractual disputes relating to plane maintenance services rendered to a customer airline company. Acting for a large JSE-listed importer and distributor and a major player in the plant hire sector with assets worth more than ZAR10bn. Acting for Airports Company of South Africa in the enforcement and cancellation of lease agreements and subsequent evictions of defaulting commercial clients.
