Ernie Van Der Vyver

Ernie has experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, formation, structuring and restructuring of business entities and the drafting of commercial agreements and general corporate advice to clients in the financial services market. Ernie acts on behalf of various insurers, intermediaries and other clients in the financial services market advising on a wide variety of matters including financial services related corporate transactions, international clients on the establishment and structuring of business operations in Africa, mergers and acquisitions and financial services regulation within Africa. Ernie also regularly advises medical schemes and administrators on a variety of legal matters including drafting and negotiating of administration agreements and managed health care agreements. Ernie completed his LLB and BA at the University of Stellenbosch and was admitted as an Attorney in 2001. He has over a decade of experience working for a number of leading South African firms and has been named as a leading Insurance & Re-Insurance Lawyer by The International Who's Who and Expert Guides.
