Frederick Van Der Westhuyzen

Fred was admitted in 2001 as an Attorney and Notary of the High Court of South Africa. He started his career in BOE as credit contol manager and thereafter moved to FNB as Head of the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape Regions in Corporate Recoveries. Fred was later appointed National Head of Recoveries in FNB Commercial and was in control of a debtors book of R3,5bn.  Fred litigated in High and Magistrates courts around South Africa and achieved vast exposure to arbitrations and mediation as well as all spheres of civil litigation. He was part of the FNB Commercial junior board and joined Honey Attorneys in 2012.Fred has experience in: High Court and Magistrate’s Court Litigation; Drafting of Commercial Contracts; PIE Applications Evictions – Commercial / Residential Collection of Debtor’s books Drafting and Executing Notarial Bonds Perfecting Notarial Bonds Liquidation / Business Rescue Applications Arbitrations / Mediations Settlement Negotiations Antenuptial contracts.
