Gerhard Jozua Brits

Mr Brits graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1981 with B Com LLB degrees, whereafter he served his articles with Silberbauers Inc Attorneys in Cape Town. He was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 1984 and as Notary in 1985. He continued to practise as a Professional Assistant and became a partner and director of Silberbauers Inc in 1987. Mr Brits was appointed the managing partner of Silberbauers' office in Bellville in 1993 and he specialised in Conveyancing and Property Law. Since 2000 Mr Brits has been, on the invitation and request of the Law Society of South Africa, involved in lecturing and the presentation of courses for Attorneys who endeavour to qualify as Notaries and Conveyancers.
