Johan Van Greunen

Johan has 19 years’ experience as an admitted lawyer, business owner and analyst. He is fully au fait with distressed companies from both the view of being for and against the distressed company. Furthermore, he is actively involved in distressed companies in South Africa as well as all SADEC countries. Although his recent focus is on commercial services, corporate liquidations and business rescue proceedings; as well as dealing with distressed companies, whether he represent the company, the creditor, the employee or funder/s.  He has assisted countless clients over the past years, some of whom are still his clients to this day. Additionally, he assists all of his professional staff in overviewing and assessing a client’s case in order to determine the best process forward in conjunction with external services providers, experts and synchronization with client’s needs and expectations. Over and above, he had the privilege to be called as an acting Judge at the High Court of Pretoria and have chaired as such for a term.
