Kay Naidoo

Kay is the Managing Director of LLI and has more than 20 years' experience as a litigator, focusing on commercial and property litigation.  As one of the firm's attorneys with rights of appearance in the High Court, Kay acts as in-house counsel in many matters. He is nationally acknowledged for his expertise in property and town planning issues, particularly relating to municipal implementation of zoning and town planning regulations. Kay has extensive experience in land restitution matters and appears regularly in Land Claims Court. He is also conversant with administrative law and tender disputes. Kay has been appointed a liquidator by the Master of the High Court. He also serves as a commissioner in the Durban Small Claims Court, which is a voluntary, unpaid service to the community in terms of the legislation designed to make justice more accessible to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
