Domestic and international patent and design matters, including the preparation and prosecution of patent and design applications. Keith specialises in the mechanical, heavy electrical, medical and dental engineering fields as well as technical copyright. Industry associations Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law and British Overseas Member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents, UK. Professional activities Co-author of the chapter on Intellectual Property: Patents and Copyright in Construction Law and Related Issues, Philip C Loots. Keith has lectured on IP law at various South African universities and has served as examiner and moderator on behalf of the Patent Examination Board.
