Kenita Moodley focuses on transactional work, including local and cross-border finance transactions and has advised both borrowers and lenders in a variety of sectors, including telecommunications, mining, energy and infrastructure.  Representative experience: Acting for Afreximbank in a senior debt financing to Smile Telecoms for purchase of telecoms equipment and roll-out of LTE mobile broadband network in Africa. Advising a US-based agricultural borrower on a secured debt package from a local bank. Advising a multi-jurisdictional bank on the restructuring of their group in all African jurisdictions. Advising a local coal exporter on an unsecured term loan facility through a securitisation vehicle of a local bank to fund the replacement of equipment. Lead counsel for the borrower entities for an unsecured facility from AATIF to ABCH for on-lending to Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe for agricultural loans.
