Louis Paul Van Schalkwyk

Louis van Schalkwyk was born on 16th May 1968 and obtained his Matric Certificate at Paarl Gimnasium High School in 1986. He completed his compulsory National Service in the South African Defence Force during 1989 and 1990. In 1993 he obtained his B.Proc degree at the University of South Africa and commenced his Articles at Heyns and Partners Incorporated in 1994. During 1995 he ceded his Articleship to Paul Avenant and joined him as an Articled Clerk. He was admitted as an Attorney in 1996 and was thereafter appointed as a Professional Assistant by “Paul Avenant“ Attorneys. Louis was initially involved in General Litigation but systematically built up a Conveyancing Practice. In 1998, he was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary. In the same year Louis was appointed as a partner of Paul Avenant and in 2012 Louis became a Consultant to the firm.
