Marius de Villiers

Marius started his clerkship at Fleischacks Attorneys in 1989, admitted as an attorney in 1991 and named partner shortly thereafter. Marius then branched out independently to start De Villiers Attorneys in 1993.​ He places great emphasis on building strong client relationships through a focus on quality services and a commendable work ethic; an example he sets for the entire firm.​ Marius has been involved in Civil Litigation, Commercial Law and Property matters since the start of the firm, but is highly specialised in Mining Law. He has supported clients in numerous high profile matters relating to Mining, Corporate Compliance, Tax, Commercial, Property, BEE transactions and litigation. Through his natural and long-lasting passion for the law, Marius has built a reputation for people-centric service, supported by his wealth of legal knowledge and experience.
