Mechiel Heyns Gertenbach

Mechiel obtained his LL.B degree (cum laude) from the University of the Free State in 2014 and received certificates of recognition for academic performance in 2013 and 2014, he was also awarded the Phatshoane Henney Group Honour Medal in 2015. He further obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning in 2015. During his studies Mechiel played squash for his hostel Vertitas and captained one of the Bobbies Park squash teams. Mechiel joined EG Cooper Majiedt Incorporated as candidate attorney during 2014 and worked in the litigation and labour law departments. Mechiel was admitted as an attorney and appointed as an associate in 2016, he currently practices in the litigation and labour law departments.
