Naas Fischer

Naas read for the degree BA.LLB at Stellenbosch in 1977 and was admitted as an attorney in 1982.  In 1984 he was made a partner at Balsillie Watermeyer & Cawood in Cape Town and continued as a partner and later director of this firm in its amended form until 2015.  He has extensive experience in commercial and MVA litigation, insolvency and property development, with an additional qualification in business rescue.  He is the founding partner of De Waal Grobbelaar & Fischer, along with Martin de Waal and Martin Grobbelaar, where he specialises in commercial litigation and commercial arbitration in the firm’s Cape Town office.
