Oshy obtained his BA and LLB degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, and completed articles of clerkship with I Mendelow and Browde. He was admitted as an attorney in 1973 and became a partner of I Mendelow and Browde (which merged with Moss Morris Attorneys) in 1974. Oshy was appointed the chairman of Moss Morris in 1995, a position he held until his resignation in 2004 to found TWB. Oshy specialises in commercial, corporate, banking, stock exchange, tax and exchange control law. He has handled numerous listings, corporate restructures, major mergers and acquisitions and BEE transactions. Oshy’s secretary is Leigh Robertson.
