Petr Erasmus

Petr is a specialist Customs & Excise attorney. He gained Customs & Excise experience by working for SARS Customs for a period of 16 years starting at the very bottom, the last 5 of which he acted as Tax Lawyer/Legal Advisor to Customs Litigation at SARS head office. During his time at Customs Litigation Petr was exposed to numerous matters across the entire scope of Customs & Excise including: tariff, valuations, detentions/seizures, registrations/licenses, internal remedies and more. He served his articles at the State Attorney’s office in Pretoria and was admitted as an attorney on 8 May 2012.
