Pieter de Weerdt

Pieter de Weerdt obtained B.Com and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch. After extensive traveling, he was admitted as an attorney in 2008. Pieter specializes in criminal matters, and has extensive expertise in this field, having done trials ranging from murder to possession of dagga and more bail applications than he can remember. He has turned down a position as a magistrate, which would have made him one of the youngest magistrates in the country, because of his love of the cut and thrust of litigation. Pieter also excels at other contentious matters, including family law, divorce matters and commercial litigation. His easygoing demeanor often leads his opponents to underestimate him, although they soon find out that he has a will of steel when it come to the interests of his clients.
