Pranith Mehta provides tax advice to corporates and high-net worth individuals focusing on the structuring of domestic and cross-border transactions, combining his commercial and tax expertise to optimally structure clients’ operations in a tax efficient manner. He is experienced in the resolution of disputes with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) as well as the practices of SARS' voluntary disclosure programme (VDP). Representative experience: Assisted in developing tax efficient structures for in-bound investments into SA and Southern Africa, including the use of Mauritian GBC1 companies and SA headquarter companies. Experienced in tax dispute resolution, including preparing requests for reasons, drafting objections and the negotiation of settlements.
