Quintus van der Merwe

Position in Firm: Partner, Head of International Transoport, Trade & Energy, Head of Customs & Excise Division, Quintus specialises in maritime and international trade law. Quintus also heads up the Customs department, which specialises in a wide range of import, export and related customs services. Although he usually acts against Customs, he has been involved in a number of joint working groups between industry and Customs. Service on boards and associations: Quintus is an associated member of The South African Ship Suppliers Association, The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and The Maritime Lawyers Association.
