Tammy Bortz, the director of Tammy Bortz Inc, was a partner at Werksmans Inc a leading South African law firm for 5 years and was head of the firms technology law department when she left to commence practice for her own account in June 2004.Tammy's clients include London FTSE top ten, JSE listed, global and local private companies. Matters include advising two of the four major South African Banks, representing JSE listed companies on major outsourcing transactions, due diligence investigations of various businesses to assess technology and regulatory exposure, advising on electronic payment and invoicing transactions and on electronic draw card and payment initiatives.Tammy Bortz Inc has experience in representing both vendors and customers and hence is able to understand, advise on and negotiate transactions from both aspects.
