Tarryn Paterson focuses on civil litigation with special emphasis on insurance related matters, which include public liability, professional indemnity (including medical malpractice claims), and personal injury related matters. She acts for personal injury clients in both the Magistrates' and the High Court and has experience in briefing counsel and negotiating matters to settlement. In addition, Tarryn is involved in employment law matters including the drafting of litigation proceedings. She has represented the South African National Traders and Retail Association pro bono in a High Court and a Constitutional Court application against the City of Johannesburg to interdict the City from removing traders from their trading posts.
