Theresa Achada

Theresa Achada obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (cum laude) degree from the University of South Africa and LLB (cum laude) degree from Rhodes University. She was admitted as an attorney, notary public and conveyancer in 2005 and has been exclusively practicing labour law. Theresa is currently a Senior Associate in the Labour Law Department of MacRobert Attorneys. She is passionate about labour law; however, she is broadening her practice to include general and commercial litigation matters. She advises a wide range of clients, including multinationals, extensively on a broad range of labour law related issues, which include employment consequences of commercial transactions and restructurings, dismissals, employment contracts, HR policies and procedures. Theresa also offers training services to her clients on a wide range of labour law issues. She is a member of SASLAW and enjoys writing and publishing articles for various legal pu blications.
