Theunis Hurter

Theuns Hurter obtained a BProc degree from the University of Pretoria in 1990. He was in the second group of candidate attorneys who attended the Law Society of South Africa's (formerly known as the Association of Law Societies) School for Legal Practice in 1991 and was admitted as an attorney and notary in 1993. In the same year he established a law firm and practice as a partner. He was also actively involved in the development and sale of land and property for a number of years. As a commodity broker he executed commodity contracts for the purchasing or selling of commodities and negotiated on behalf of national and international clients.

Admitted to the High Court as an attorney in January 1994.
