Zara Kretzmer

Zara has experience in alternate dispute resolution, construction and engineering matters as well as commercial and insurance litigation, including insurance claims and subrogated recoveries, professional indemnity disputes and the Consumer Protection Act. She has a special focus on drafting various security and indemnity documents for guarantees as well as advising on wording and claims on construction guarantees, on-demand bonds and recoveries under security and indemnity documents. Zara obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Law Degree (LLB), Double Major with Economic Sciences and Law (with distinction) in 2014 from the University of the Witwatersrand, receiving a variety of awards for the most distinguished and highest achieving overall student. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in March 2017.
