Bennie matriculated in 1985 at Wolmaransstad. He obtained his B.Proc degree at Potchefstroom University in 1991. After doing his articles in 1992-1994 at De Wet & Dreyer Attorneys (Dundee) he became a director in 1995 and the firm was re-named De Wet Dreyer & Marx Attorneys.
After spending some timen in private business, he has returned to the law practice to establish this firm to offer his experience and knowledge of law and business. He possess an extensive knowledge regarding various spheres of the law i.e. Magistrates and High Court litigation, Debt Collection procedures, Family Law, Commercial Law, Law of Contracts, Law of Insolvency and with more than 17 years experience. Over the years he has assisted and managed many corporate clients in their legal needs. He is courteous and objective in the furtherance of services to clients. Drafting Pleadings and Court Applications; running own Magistrate and High Court Trials once defended; managing several corporate clients in their debt recovery and litigation needs; assisting and developing new debt recovery procedures for various municipalities and other clients. He has attended numerous workshops and seminars hosted by law societies and LEAD in order to continually motivate and supplement his education, experience and training. He has years' experience and knowledge of general litigation (Magistrate's and High Court), collections (small and large quantities of matters), debt management, contractual law and other related legal matters, etc.
He has special knowledge of insolvency and liquidation law. We also do a substantial amount of correspondence work for many large legal firms.
