Jan Lodewikus Pretorius

Jan Pretorius was born in the North Eastern Free State where he received most of his schooling. He obtained a B. Proc degree during 1984 from the University of the Free State and in 1985 was admitted as an attorney. He also obtained his diploma in the administration of Deceased Estates. He has experience in insolvency, deceased, trusts and curatorship estates. He was employed by the Master of the Supreme Court in Bloemfontein for 5 years and was then enrolled as a candidate attorney at Symington & de Kok, Bloemfontein. He later became a partner of that firm. He concentrated on the administration of insolvent, deceased and curatorship estates. He has wide experience in property related matters and act as non-executice director on various boards of companies.

Admitted to the High Court as an attorney in January 1985.
