Pieter Coetzee

Piet Coetzee was born in Queenstown and attended Queen’s College Boys’ High School from where he matriculated in 1983. Piet Coetzee’s employment at Bowes, McDougall Inc. as a qualified Attorney commenced on the 28th of January 1991 and he has been a Partner / Director since the 1st of March 1993. He has vast experience as a general practitioner and as a Conveyancer. At Bowes, McDougall Inc. he was part of the Litigation team doing both civil and criminal litigation until May 2001. Since May 2001 he leads the Conveyancing Department with 2 other Conveyancers and a complement of para-legals. He has vast experience in Municipal Conveyancing, as Bowes, McDougall Inc. were the Municipality’s Conveyancers for many years, property developments, residential property transfers, agricultural transfers and estate transfers. He is fully conversant in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa and this ability has contributed largely to building his practice over the years as he has been able to understand and fully converse with all groups of people without a language impediment. Piet has a broad knowledge of property values, estate planning and the administration of estates and the working of trusts.
